Park Run And Beyond
Park Run and Beyond was formed in 2018 in order to provide coached running sessions aimed at improving endurance running & overall health & fitness.
These sessions are for all abilities & focus heavily on technical aspects of running (form, posture, cadence, breathing). Track sessions consist of warmup & drills followed by repeat/interval training or threshold work, ending with cooldown/stretching. Park Run and Beyond coach people who run at every distance, from those who want to be able
to run 5K to those who regularly run marathons, triathlons, ultras and beyond.
All sessions are taken by UKA-qualified Coaches. In addition, co-founders and current head coaches Adrian Fell and Sharon Wright are both fully qualified PTs. Park Run and Beyond is not a club and there is no joining fee. Sessions are PAYG and are open to everybody, subject to capacity.
At present there are approximately 150 athletes who train with Park Run and Beyond; some of those represent other running/athletic clubs and some are simply runners who do not compete for any club.
